No one can stop the process of aging, but this does not mean that you cannot get rid of wrinkles. In fact, it is easier than you think. You just need to follow an effective treatment program and stick to it. If you do not want to use cosmetic products because of cost, ethical reasons or bad experience, you can readily consider natural remedies. The important thing is to be disciplined as this will guarantee you the best possible results.

1. Cleaning

You should use treatments that help you get rid of wrinkles only on perfectly clean skin. For this purpose, you should use a mild non-drying and non-irritating face wash in the morning and in the evening. Rose water is a great natural alternative.

2. Exfoliation

If you want to get rid of wrinkles, you must exfoliate your skin once or twice every week. This procedure ensures that the dead skin cells, grime and bacteria are removed and that new smoother skin can grow in place of the old one.

You can readily use a commercially available exfoliating mask. There are plenty of smooth and non-irritating products based on natural fruit enzymes which are worth giving a try especially if you have sensitive skin. You can also prepare a mask at home. There are plenty of recipes with the ones based on coffee and sugar being the most popular. It is always a good idea to use a hydrating and nourishing ingredient such as honey.

3. Hydration

When the skin is properly hydrated, it produces more collagen and elastin which help you get rid of wrinkles naturally. Besides, its overall appearance is greatly improved. For proper hydration, you should apply a potent moisturizer every day in the morning and possibly in the evening as well. Some experts recommend applying a moisturizer every time after you wash your face. You can prepare a natural moisturizer at home using a special recipe or use a little bit of coconut oil. Remember to drink 8 glasses of water a day as well.

4. Firming

You can make your skin appear firmer and reduce wrinkles caused by sagging by applying astringent products. There are various masks and creams available. The best natural firming agent is freshly squeezed lemon juice. It can be applied daily.

5. Toning

The purpose of this step is to improve the overall appearance of the skin. You can use specially formulated cosmetic products or homemade creams or masks. You should also do exercises as well. One of the simplest and most effective is called Kiss the Ceiling. You simply need to try to kiss the ceiling. It works for eliminating wrinkles around the mouth and eyes and double chin as well.

6. Nourishment

You should definitely use a nourishing cream at night to stimulate the natural skin replenishment mechanism. A healthy diet with foods rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids is also important. You can also consider taking supplements.

7. Protection

Exposure to UV radiation speeds up ageing so it is crucial that you use a moisturizer, a cream or foundation with at least SPF 15 and preferably SPF 25 or higher on a daily basis. Try to avoid sun exposure and tanning beds. You should consider using an antioxidant-rich cosmetic product for the face as well.

You now know how to get rid of wrinkles.

  1. Wrinkles and fine lines are avoidable but surely, there is something we can always do to reduce their appearance and embarrass us. For many years, I resort to natural remedies and Facial Toner a non-invasive treatment that works great for me for firming my skin, as my beauty regimen. However, I don't close my options with those remedies, I'm always open to try clinical creams and other skin care products. You have a very interesting post, please keep it up!
